Edwin Boyd: An Adventure

My mom is an extraordinary woman and a fantastic nurse. However, I'm not the only one who holds this opinion, as I found out last week when she came home. As it turned out, she met someone at work who was working on the movie being filmed here, Edwin Boyd. Being the amazing woman that she is, she managed an invite from the production manager to visit the set and meet the stars.

At 7 am, she, Jordan, and I were out the door and on our way to Queen Street. We hung around the set a bit, took photos, and admired the old school cars. We found out then that the real action wouldn't be starting up until 4 pm, so we headed back home for a few hours. When 4 pm rolled around, Jordan and I drove back to the set and followed the bus they were filming in. It was a nice walk with a lot of good opportunities for photos.

This post, however, is about the people we met when we were on set. Here are some friendly new faces:

I'm not sure who this is, but he let me take his photo.

A set of lovely ladies looking classy in their costumes.

More fancy dresses. Not in the British sense.

And a wicked fur-trimmed coat.

This spiffy young gentleman is Jordan. Not the usual Jordan, but a new one. We met on set when he asked me to take a photo of him with Scott Speedman.

And I obliged.

Mr. Speedman was unbelievably friendly and more than generous with his time. After taking his photo with Jordan, he asked me, "You want one, too?" And, of course, I did!

And if you'll notice, I was wearing my Scott Pilgrim shirt.

While today's adventure was chilly and unmissable, we'll be back on set later this week, when it's rumoured that Kevin Durand will be filming his part in the big shoot-out scene. Excitement abounds!

  1. If you can get Durand's signature I'd love to have it! He was on SG-1.

  2. I will do my best! Though you're probably better off asking Jordan. He got him to sign X-Men Origins for me ;)
